PHOTOMETRIC OBSERVATIONS WITH FIRPO
Last modified on September 16, 1997 by

To date, a total of 1043 photometric observations have been collected
with FIRPO. The statistics include 256, 279, 412 and 78 measurements
in the main filters J1, H2, K3 and L4 respectively. A small proportion
of other measurements have been obtained in other filters as well.
A total of 416 stars have been measured; of these, 168 were standard
stars. The scientific measurements were divided mostly into three main
programs: Richichi (i.e. mainly occultation targets, 157 stars),
Leinert (78), Stecklum (11).
A full listing
of the measurements, ordered by date and with the
filters and program name indicated, is available.
Also available is a
summary
of the FIRPO runs, with details of the dates, telescopes and observers.
All the data are reduced, and can be accessed by following the usual
links to the
Data Archive,
then to the FIRPO Area.
Each run is stored in a separate directory according
to its date. The date are in the fmag.dat files.
Please note that a system transformation
appears necessary, and is not included in the original fmag.dat files.
A message with more details has been
posted. A program to recalibrate the data is available upon request
from Sam Ragland. More work
on this topic will be done in the next runs.
